2010 / flash application
Essentially a Google Maps/Twitter mash-up; also, my BFA Thesis project. Once a search term is entered, the application looks for the latest tweet that includes said term and plots a dot at the corresponding Twitter memeber's location. Each dot stays on the map and slowly fades until a new term is entered. Over time, patterns emerge on the map, showing the literal direction a Twitter dialogue/conversation is taking.
